Crystal Gale Winchester, 37, of Murray, died, Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at her home. Born in Murray on Sept. 23, 1975, she was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her significant other, Jason Robinson of Murray; her mother, Patricia Butler of Hermitage, Tenn.; her father, Ronnie Kimbro and wife, Patty of Murray; one daughter, Harleigh Merrell and husband, Brodie of Hardin; two sons, Zakari Winchester and fiancé, Ashely Duncan, and Dalton Winchester, both of Murray; two step-sisters, Amanda Garner and Sherrie Kimbro, both of Murray; two grandchildren, Brantley Winchester and Trinyte Merrell; and paternal grandfather, Euel Kimbro of Murray. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Sammy Cunningham will officiate with burial to follow in the Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4–8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012. Doris E. Waldridge Bell Rushing, 96, of Paducah, died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at the Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah. She was a member of the East Baptist Church and the National Democratic Party. She worked for the Paducah Basket Company, Claussner Hoisery Mill and the Boaz Drug Store. She is survived by her adoptive daughters, Mary E. Dudley and husband, Donald, and Elizabeth Banks and husband, Billy, both of Paducah; grandchildren, Donya Brasher of Paducah, Lisa Meyers of Lexington, Tenn., and Michelle Woods of Murray; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Annella Waldridge of Paducah; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceding her in death were her first husband, Solon Bell and her second husband, Martin Rushing; parents, Louis Marvin “Dick” Waldridge and Alcestria “Cestie” McKinney Waldridge; granddaughter, Brittany Banks; five brothers, Marvin Waldridge, Lewis Waldridge, William Waldridge, Charles Waldridge, and Junior Waldridge; one sister, Mary Ruby Waldridge Hicks; and three infant sisters. Graveside services were held Monday, Oct. 15, 2012. at the Mt. Kenton Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Harrell officiating. There will be no visitation. Novella Raspberry, 99, of Paris, Tenn., died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at Henry County Healthcare. Born May 21, 1913 in Beulah, she was a member of the Hazel Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Bucy of Paris; nine grandchildren, Shannon Parker and husband, Jason, Shelley Bucy Culver, Shereece Walker and husband, Joseph, Donna Raspberry, Jessica Parks and husband, Chad, Jason Raspberry, all of Paris, Shea Raspberry of Murray, Kathy Hassell and husband, Kenneth of Dyersburg, and Kenneth Raspberry of Chicago; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Joe Raspberry and wife Bonnie, of Murray. She was preceded in death by her husband, Farlie Raspberry; parents John and Ella O’Guinn Tharpe; two sons, Stonie Raspberry, Joe Donald Raspberry; a daughter, Beverly Raspberry; five brothers, Royal “Boss” Tharpe, George Tharpe, Leonard Tharpe, Thurman Thorpe, Beanus Tharpe; four sisters, Dessie Burgess, Nora Burgess, Tommie Lemmon, Troy Tharpe; and a grandchild, Marty Joe Raspberry. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at the Hazel Baptist Church with Joel Frizzel officiating. Interment followed at the Hazel Cemetery. Ronnie Lee “Roho” Wilford, 58, of Mayfield, died on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at the home of his parents. He was currently employed by Crop Production Services, and was a former millwright with Bandi’s Welding/Midwest Steel of Murray. He is survived by his parents, Mac and Robbie Coursey Wilford of Mayfield; one brother, David and wife Pam Wilford of Mayfield; three sisters, Carolyn and husband Gary Page of Murray; Anita Hayden and Shari Buckingham, both of Mayfield; two sons, Gregory Vance and wife Lori Wilford of Mayfield; and Michael Shane and wife Dana Wilford of Mt. Vernon, IL; and five grandchildren. Services for Ronnie Lee “Roho” Wilford were held Sunday, Oct. 14th at Byrn Funeral Home, with the Revs. Ronnie Stinson, Sr. and John Dale officiating. Interment followed in Highland Park Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers were Kerry Smith, Derek Canter, David Wilford, Jr., Kenny Brewer, Raymond Hayden, David Stahr and Jeff Page. Honorary pallbearers were Roger Heath, Jonathan Hayden and Mathew Hayden. Byrn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Esther Pauline Callahan
Esther Pauline Callahan, 97, of Murray died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at Spring Creek Health Care. Callahan was born June 18, 1915 in Hartselle, Ala., and was a homemaker and a member of Ferguson Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Charles V. Callahan (Linda), of Hardin; two sisters, Dorothy Kirby (Kyle), and Mary Sparkman, both of Hartselle, Ala.; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Liz (Long) Hartselle; her husband, William Edgar Callahan, who she married Jan. 10, 1931; three sisters; two brothers and one great-grandchild. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Daryl Thorn officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Hartselle, Ala. Timothy 'Bubba' Blake
Timothy “Bubba” Blake, 46, of Murray died Sunday at his home. He was born March 29, 1966 in LaPorte, Ind., he was of the Baptist faith and a 1984 graduate of Calloway County High School. Blake was formerly an operator for the Calloway County Road Department. He is survived by his parents, Pat Lackey and husband Eugene of Osceola, Ark., and Jimmy Blake of Mayfield; fiancé Kim Green of Murray; step-sister Natalie Govnet of LaPorte, Ind.; two brothers, Todd Blake and wife Debra of Osceola, Ark., and Joey Blake of Michigan city, Ind.; also a special aunt and uncle, Brenda and Jimmy Williams of Sedalia, along with several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
